The time is now for Kuba Oms. The electronica tinged Canadian singer/ songwriter formed the legendary Velvet, an experimental, vibey, improv unit that crossed into dance/DJ culture. Combining 70s-era soul, funk and rock n’ roll, he has played over 1000 shows during his residency at Steamers in Victoria. He won the national songwriters competition in 2005 and with his new album “how much time’ just released, he is ready to rip this stuff out live direct in Cumberland.
